Processing

Simple, low-cost processing facility delivers multi-nutrient products.

  • Mineral processing involves dry crushing of the ore, which is a simple, low-cost procedure, and requires minimal water, all of which has been pre-secured under existing water supply terms.
  • A grade control processing circuit utilizes short wavelength infrared (“SWIR”) ore-sorting / concentration screening to analyze the crushed ore. This delivers an increased feed grade and boosts economics.

Grade improvement from SWIR ore-sorting production tests:

Transport and Logistics

Flexible & Efficient Distribution

  • The products are trucked from the processing facility to the rail loadout facility (22 miles east of the plant site) with 60,000-ton product storage domes.
  • The products are loaded onto Texas & New Mexico Railroad which connects to the Union Pacific Railroad.
  • For offshore destinations, ocean freight is available from Gulf & Pacific ports.
