Resources/Reserves

Exceptional Reserves with Low-Barrier Accessibility

One of only two polyhalite resources of its size globally, the PolyNatura deposit is the sole resource in the Americas, with 630 million tons of Measured & Indicated resources and an average grade of 82.6%. The deposit supports a mine life exceeding 50 years from 161 million tons of Proven & Probable reserves with an average product grade of 87.1%.

  • Measured & Indicated Resources are the calculated quantity and quality of minerals of a project after expert exploration, sampling, and testing. Measured Resources are those verified with a sufficient level of confidence to support detailed mine planning and confirm quality continuity between observation points. Indicated Resources are derived from detailed and reliable exploration, sampling, and testing sufficient to assume quality continuity between observation points.
  • Proven & Probable Reserves are the economically mineable portions of the resource, reflecting modifying factors such as current technology, processing, marketing, and regulations. Proven Reserves are those reserves for which an expert has the very highest degree of confidence. Probable Reserves are demonstrably economic, based on a qualifying pre-feasibility study, with a confidence level second only to proven reserves.
